Davie & Paul and Stuart & Erick headed to the upper gorge, despite claims of gorge fatigue the previous evening!
Davie - "We followed a pair of locals down the descent gully. They were good enough to let us use their ropes to abseil down a couple of icy steps. Stuart & Erick headed into the impressive Rjukanfossen amphitheatre, while myself & Paul headed to Juledagfossen WI4. About 3/4 of the way up the 2nd pitch, we saw that the top section wasn't fully formed, so we baled out. Our abseil descent was from an Abalakov"

"We saw a team climbing the amazing Lipton WI7. They seemed at home on the futuristic route, the bastards!!" Meanwhile, Stuart & Erick were on Verdens Ende WI5.
Stuart - "An absolute doddle, like a Scottish IV gully rather than a WI5. a little disappointing as far as a route goes, nice surroundings though and with a good partner Erick. Lipton looks very appealing for a future trip". Erick - "Ok climbing on Verdens Ende with a good last pitch for me"
They all headed back towards the chalet, stopping at the Ozzimosis area on the way. Davie - "Climbed Ozzimosis WI4, a good steep single pitch"
